Extension Customization
While the Chrome Extension has a standard UI, there are several ways to customize its behavior for your organization.
Organization-level settings
In the Backoffice (Settings → AI Configuration):
- AI Provider: Choose between available AI providers
- AI Model: Select the model used for responses
- Tool Use: Enable or disable AI tool use capabilities
- System Prompt: Customize the AI's behavior and tone
Domain configuration
Control which pages the extension is active on:
- Register your domains in the Backoffice
- Map URL patterns to specific knowledge content
- The extension only provides knowledge-grounded answers on configured domains
User-level settings
Users can customize their experience in the extension's settings panel:
- Language: Switch between English, Spanish, and German
- Privacy: Enable/disable PII masking and activity tracking
- Notifications: Configure notification preferences
- Personal information: Add context that the assistant can use
