Knowledge Requests
When the assistant can't answer your question, it means your organization hasn't documented that topic yet. Instead of leaving you stuck, Appilot lets you create a knowledge request.
How it works
- You ask a question the assistant can't fully answer
- Appilot suggests creating a knowledge request
- You submit the request with your question and the page context
- Your organization's knowledge team receives the request in the Backoffice
- They create the knowledge content and publish it
- You receive a notification when the answer is ready
Creating a request
You can create a knowledge request from the Knowledge Base view:
- Open the Appilot panel and navigate to the Knowledge Base from the menu
- The "Help for this page" view shows guides relevant to the current page
- If no guides are available (or you need something else), click Request Help at the bottom
- Describe what help or training you need in the form that appears
- Submit the request — your page URL and context are automatically attached
Tracking your requests
You can see the status of your requests:
- Pending — Submitted, waiting for review
- In Progress — Your organization's team is working on it
- Resolved — The answer has been published
Why this matters
Knowledge requests create a demand-driven improvement loop:
- Users signal exactly what's missing
- Knowledge teams prioritize based on real demand (not guesswork)
- The system gets smarter over time
- Every request potentially helps hundreds of future users
